Working Together to Protect Wildlife and Preserve Our Natural Heritage
Reflecting the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi’s commitment to protecting wildlife and conserving biodiversity across the Emirate, the Abu Dhabi Wildlife Response Network provides an integrated framework that unites efforts and enhances rapid response to situations requiring the rescue and care of wildlife.
The Network brings together government entities, non-governmental organisations, academic institutions, and private-sector organisations within a coordinated and collaborative framework that facilitates joint action, promotes the exchange of expertise, and ensures wildlife receives appropriate care, enhancing its chances of recovery and return to its natural habitat.
By strengthening collaboration among relevant stakeholders, the Network supports timely intervention, wildlife rehabilitation tailored to each animal’s condition and needs, and release back into natural habitats whenever its health permits. Through these collective efforts, the Network contributes to maintaining ecological balance and safeguarding Abu Dhabi’s natural heritage.
Together, we give wildlife a renewed chance to recover, thrive, and return to its natural habitat.
